Hayouxi – River Tracing & Tribal Slow Travel
Step into the “Land of Clouds” in Wutai, Pingtung. At over 1,000 meters above sea level, the Rukai tribal villages are hidden among misty mountains, creating a landscape where culture and nature intertwine.
This 2-day, 1-night journey begins with a slow walk through Shen Shan and Wutai villages—exploring slate alleys, tasting local tribal food and desserts, and enjoying a traditional dinner with an evening cultural tour.
On Day 2, local guides lead visitors into Hayouxi, open only during the dry season (January–April). Experience river tracing through dramatic rainbow-colored cliffs and soak in the wild golden hot springs, immersing yourself in pristine mountain nature.
